Aging and Disability Services Welcomes Jesse Eller
On March 28, 2012, the Aging and Disability Services (ADS) Advisory Council and ADS staff welcomed a new director, Jesse Eller. He brings more than 20 years of experience in health care administration. Most recently, Jesse served as the Director of Long-Term Care for Yavapai County in Prescott, Arizona. His diverse career includes work with children, families, seniors and persons with disabilities.
Jesse has taught health care administration at the University of Phoenix and business management at Yavapai Community College. He earned undergraduate degrees in business management and marketing, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
ADS—a division of the Seattle Human Services Department—is designated by the State of Washington as the Area Agency on Aging for King County. Jesse says he is excited about the opportunity and challenge of working with ADS and the Human Services Department. "I am particularly interested in working with other human services directors to continue the strong continuum of services to the community," he says.
Jesse and his wife, Maureen, have two children—Kaela and Ian (ages 15 and 13, respectively). The Eller family particularly enjoys travel, the outdoors, arts, and theatre.
