People’s Memorial Association Helps You Get Organized
2021 proved to be another exceptionally challenging year for everyone but, at People’s Memorial Association (PMA), we had a lot to be thankful for. We hosted 26 webinars over eight different monthly series, and even got the chance to present for community partners, like End of Life Washington, and make new friends, like WSU’s Sustainability Stewards!
The whopping 1,239 people that tuned in to one of our webinars learned about everything from helping someone organize their digital assets to how to become a medico-legal death investigator and the best books on death. Green Funerals Week was a big hit again in 2021. As our most well-attended series, you can expect to see it return this year!
Our 2022 program calendar is jam-packed with the same high-quality, fascinating educational content you’ve come to expect from PMA. We know lots of folks kick off the new year by making a list of the things they hope to accomplish. One of those goals is nearly always GET ORGANIZED! As Washington’s only funeral education and consumer advocacy nonprofit, we’re ready to help you do just that. Join us for one of these sessions or for all three:
- 1/10/22: Emergency Digital Access: Creating a Digital Transition Plan, with Bridget Agabra from Gentle Tech Help
- 1/24/22: Creative Advance Care Planning, with Lashanna Williams from A Sacred Passing
- 1/31/22: Tackling the Emptying of a Home, with Carla Hines from Bringing Order Back
Register and save your seat by visiting our website. PMA members can join the sessions for $5 each (nonmembers $10 each). Can’t make a session? Register anyway and receive a recording of the session by e-mail, along with the presenter’s materials. Check out our webinar library for a peek back at previous sessions!
We can’t wait to learn with you in 2022!
