Reinvent Your Retirement Plan at the Senior Matters Conference

Portrait Of Senior Friends Hiking In Countryside

Aging Options knows that efforts to provide quality of life and asset protection for 41.4 million Americans age 65 or older are plagued with difficulties. Too many older adults suffer through process fragmentation, unnecessary conflict, and no road map to solutions. Aging Options wants to change that. We want to find cohesiveness, easy coordination, and a variety of plans for older populations, including more than 10,000 Americans turning 65 each day. So, we created our Senior Matters conference, which will be presented at the Lynnwood Convention Center in early September.

Keynote speaker Kerri Kasem

Aging Options is a holistic care management and elder care company that helps families plan for, pay for, and coordinate the long-term care of loved ones. During Senior Matters, Aging Options brings professionals from many disciplines together with the older adults they serve. Senior Matters is seeking a better understanding between professionals and consumers and reaching helpful solutions.

The conference provides a rare opportunity for direct access and breakout brainstorming, and endless opportunities for beneficial interaction. Attendees can choose from 12 workshops and visit over 20 exhibitors with resource information about products and services that assist older adults in Washington state. Workshops will include:

  • Preventative Care
  • Aging in Place
  • Am I Ready to Retire?
  • Elder Planning not Estate Planning
  • Unusual Retirement Planning Strategies
  • My Wife Has Been Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s
  • Social Security Tricks
  • Medicare, Medicaid & VA
  • Retirement Communities
  • When Things Go Wrong
  • Geriatrics
  • Dealing with Long Term Care Costs: Insurance & Reverse Mortgages

If you are an older adult or family caregiver, or are planning for retirement, you are invited to attend Day 2 of the Senior Matters conference on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Lynnwood Convention Center (3711 196th St SW, Lynnwood).

The keynote speaker is Kerri Kasem, a multimedia personality, producer, and writer who has anchored music, talk, and entertainment programs for radio and television. Her father, America’s Top 40 DJ Casey Kasem, was unable to realize one of the most basic hopes many of us have in life—to be able to live out his life in his own home—despite having an $80+ million estate. Kerri will share what went wrong and how planning differently can help older adults avoid the same outcome.

Register to attend the conference by August 15 to receive early bird pricing, which includes the keynote presentation, workshops, lunch, and access to exhibitors. Don’t delay as space is limited. For more information call 1-877-76-AGING or visit www.seniormatters2018.com.
