During the warm summer months, it’s so important to drink enough fluids. Water is the ideal beverage to keep us hydrated without adding calories. Eating whole fruit is another way to consume more fluid while adding beneficial nutrients to our diet. Fruit juices also can be a good source of vitamins and other healthful substances. Check the label to be sure the juice you’ve selected is 100% fruit juice, not a sugary “fruit drink.” Better yet, squeeze your own and leave plenty of pulp!
