Summer in Seattle Wordfind

WordfindAs you’ve moved about the Puget Sound area this summer, you’ve probably noticed plenty of tourists enjoying the sights! We’re blessed to live in an area with so much natural beauty and a wealth of cultural resources.

Experts tell us that travel is a great way to boost the mood and stimulate our brains. But why hop on a plane or endure a long car trip? Since we live in a favorite tourist destination, why not take a “staycation” during August or September—months that many locals consider our loveliest? Getting out of the house expands our sense of life space, which helps fight depression and provides mental stimulation.

You can take great day trips on Metro or Sound Transit. Check out senior-friendly outings with your local senior center  or through Seattle Parks and Recreation and King County Parks and Recreation.

This month’s puzzle contains the name of 20 favorite tourist destinations in our area. Click here to download your copy of the puzzle.
